Privacy Policy

We treat privacy as part of the product rather than a clause appended to it. This policy explains what Spackflow collects, why, and how you can control it.
This is an initial draft and requires legal review before public release.
What we collect
To let you register and use the service we collect the phone number or email address you provide, along with your display name and avatar. To protect your account we record sign-in times, device model and IP address. To deliver messages we hold them briefly on the server until they reach their destination.
What we do not collect
We do not read your address book unless you actively start contact matching. We do not analyse your conversations for advertising. We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
How information is used
Your information is used only to operate the service itself: delivering messages, establishing calls, recovering accounts, preventing abuse, and providing support when you ask for it. We do not repurpose it for anything unrelated.
Storage and security
All data is encrypted with TLS in transit. The server can be deployed inside a private environment, in which case the physical location and retention policy are determined by whoever operates that deployment. Messages are removed from the server once they have been delivered to every target device.
Third-party services
To deliver push notifications we pass the necessary identifiers to the platform push services (Apple APNs, Google FCM). To carry audio and video, media streams are relayed through media servers. These services receive only the minimum information required to do their job.
Your rights
You can review and edit your profile, export your data, or delete your account at any time from within the app. When an account is deleted, the personal information associated with it is removed, except where retention is required by law.
Children
This service is not directed at children under 13. If we learn that we have collected a child's personal information without guardian consent, we will delete it promptly.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes materially, we will tell you prominently inside the app rather than quietly updating this page.
